WA businesses encouraged to register for global trade and investment opportunities
- Invest and Trade WA has launched a new Register of Interest (ROI) for local companies looking to go global
- Eligible companies may be invited to participate in international initiatives led by Invest and Trade WA
- Opportunities include industry delegations, global accelerator programs, international trade exhibitions and market insight webinars
Western Australian businesses looking to grow their presence overseas are encouraged to register their interest in upcoming international trade and investment initiatives.
The new Register of Interest (ROI) launched by Invest and Trade WA provides a streamlined way for WA companies to express interest in joining future government-led initiatives - such as industry delegations, global accelerator programs, international trade exhibitions and market insight webinars.
Current initiatives using the ROI process include:
- World Expo 2025 Osaka activations: First Nations Week from 6-8 August; Global New Energy Week from 22-26 September; and
- SPE Offshore Europe in Aberdeen, Scotland from 2-5 September.
The Trade and Economic Resilience Roundtable, held jointly last week with the Chamber of Minerals and Energy of Western Australia and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry WA, underscored the importance of leveraging opportunities in international markets and drawing on the expertise of the Invest and Trade WA global network.
The ROI will assist Western Australian companies in accessing these markets by connecting them with support from Invest and Trade WA's international offices.
Registering ensures that businesses are among the first to be notified when formal applications open. Terms and conditions are available via the ROI link below.
Over the past year, the WA Government, through Invest and Trade WA, has supported a wide range of businesses to participate in international initiatives across a number of markets, including India, Japan, United States, South Korea, United Kingdom and Vietnam.
